LINDA VATER: Linda Vater describes herself as a self-taught garden designer and stylist who also writes and produces garden media for TV, magazines, Instagram, YouTube, and the web. She has lived and gardened at her 1935 English Tudor home in Oklahoma City for the past thirty years. Her garden has been featured in numerous national and local magazines.
Linda Vater will be coming to the Scented Garden Show April 3rd with her new book "The Elegant and Edible Garden". She'll be signing and selling these copies that are just off the press. I'm feeling very special to have one of my own. It is a beautifully written and intriguing presentation of her story, her garden, her "aspirations, inspirations and motivations" as she outlines in this book. Her garden design might be formal but she has mixed in some wonderful, practical and beautiful plant material. It is obviously a labor of love and dedication. Her book is one that we can all relate to in our own garden dreams and projects. The photography is beautiful and captures vignettes of her gardens and topiaries. Her story is personal and inspiring.
