And more Vendors to the Scented Garden Show

Prairie Wind, Bill Farris

For more than 30 years, Bill and Sally Farris grew plants at Prairie Wind Nursery formerly located in Norman, OK. Due to high demand and little supply, the nursery was initially focused on culinary herbs. From there, inventory broadened to include native plants that grow well on their own, such as shrubs and grasses and developing varieties of beneficial pollinator plants, including milkweed, echinacea and gaillardia pulchella. Bill comes from a farming and ranching family and studied plant science at Murray State in Tishomingo.

He’s well known for his expertise on plants that are well suited and hardy enough to withstand Oklahoma’s tough weather. Bill is often seen at educational events providing presentations and workshops on gardening and landscaping.

Prairie Wind Nursery moved from Norman, OK to a new retail location in Purcell, OK.

Sweet Temptations, Dawn Knight

Dawn is a phenomenal Food Star. I know anyone who was at the show last year and had a chance to get one of her box lunches knows what a great light lunch. Perfect for a garden show. This year she is offering two choices; a tea party box and a charcuterie box. She will have water, tea or lemonade. Be sure and go to her website as listed below to pre-order to be sure you have a box or two waiting for you. She is such a talented and efficient caterer. Check out her website, especially her cheesecake cones.

The Feathery Crow, Melissa Calvin

Melissa has a unique and enchanting shop located in Arcadia, Oklahoma. She is open Tuesday through Saturday. She is located in a historical building next to the Round Barn.

She will be bringing a unique shopping experience to The Scented Garden Show to include essential oil blends, handmade jewelry and little purses, shirts, collectibles. How much fun is that?? She has made this business her own version so she has a love for everything she sells.

Be sure and spend some time at her tables.
